It would be hilarious if it were not so frightening.

Hmmmm - don't think I mentioned JFK or Clinton.

For others to suggest that I did is clearly dishonest.
But we're used to that.

You didn't mention either one, but our Dem haters and bashers did and of course now they are trying to weasel out of it

Well, Glenn whatever, had a piece in one of the newspapers this week. Guess what, he actually acknowledged that perhaps humans were affecting the weather. Actually worried about the world [b]his[b]children may inherit. He didn't seem to feel he had anything much to do with the fact that a lot of people think it is just.....what......a figment of the imagination??

Regardless, surely by now, there must be very few who see Bush as anything else but........pond scum!!!! He single-handedly brought on the worst world wide depression since the "dirty 30's" It will be a very long time, if ever before the US regains it's former status. Between starting ill advised wars and allowing large companies/banks etc. to set the rules to play by, Bush will be in the running for the worst President ever!!

Britain never regained it's former status following WWII, and it had the support of Canada, France, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and the Soviet Union. Since, most of the world saw the Bush invasion of Iraq as an oil grab, and not a legitmate attack, the US, in the end has been left to deal with the fallout. I believe 900 billion of taxpayer monies for fixing Iraq, has been approved of through September 2010!!

Just think how far that would go to setting up a Universal Health Care system in the US right now. Does put things into painful perspective, in my opinion.

hmmmm - gee bluelady, the common outcry of the right is now to stop blaming Bush and blame Obama instead - not only for the breakdown of the economy but also for not getting things back to "normal" within his first year! There are some signs that things are recovering, slowly - but it took years to get to where we were and it will take years to reverse the mess - more if the conserves have their way. They are working on the premise that if they can prevent the democratic congress from making any progress toward reversing the downward spiral, the American people will rush to the polls to put republicans back in charge!

Meanwhile, every improvement is an uphill fight. It was amusing though that the republicans backed down on a their filibuster preventing even a debate of financial reform. After voting against such a debate 3 times, they caved when the democrats said o.k. filibuster away, bring in the cots and we will stay here day and night if necessary. They very quickly reversed themselves - didn't want to miss the Kentucky Derby apparently.

One wonders if the average American realizes how fortunate they are that those who actually voted made Obama President.
The pro Palin stickers can still be seen adorning some bumpers, but I am beginning to see the occasional mocking one.
It crosses my mind, that the choice was deliberate by the Republicans, simply because they could see no way to fix the mess they landed the States in. Much easier to sit back and critize the efforts of others to put the country back on track.
Winning the elections must have given them nightmares. I believe  the Republicans knew exactly what they were doing when they chose who would run for office.

That thought has crossed the minds of many! Why else would they have chosen that particular pair? Palin, of course, is laughing all the way to the bank as she decides where to put her $12,000,000 where Uncle Sam won't get any of it with taxes.....

book deal, speaking engagements, and media contracts.... Apparently about $7 Mil from the book deal.
Then there is:
$1 million/year - 3-year contract with Fox News as a contributor.
$2 million for her TLC's show - She is getting $250,000 for each episode and TLC bought eight of them.
$100,000 for speaking engagements
$100,000 for the tea-party event, including $18,000 for private-jet travel.
