The traditional color associated with the Ruby is the deep red color and was strongly favored as a popular gem in Victorian jewelry. The meaning of colors through the ages represented many aspects of life. Social, religious, biblical and Christian symbolism were all reflected in the color Red! The symbolic meaning of the color red was was of fire and was associated with power and importance.

Definition of Ruby, the July birth stone: The word Ruby is derived from the Latin word "ruber" which means "red" which reflecting the color of the stone. A precious stone of a carmine red color, sometimes verging to violet. It is a red crystallized variety of corundum. The Ruby is a member of the Corundum (aluminum oxide) family. Crystal structure of the Ruby, the July birthstone, is Hexagonal (trigonal), dipyramidal. Rubies are extremely hard, second only to diamonds.

You can change the look of your computer screen fonts by going into your control panel or system preferences to change the resolution of the screen. Icons can appear smaller or larger by adjusting this setting.

Venus hovers just below Mars in the predawn eastern sky on July 1st. Mars progressively gets higher above Venus as the month progresses. On the 19th look for Venus to appear next to the waning crescent moon. Jupiter rises as satrun is setting at about 10:30 midmonth. On July 21st the moon appears closest to earth.

The Cucumber

Cucumbers are used for beauty treatments in cleansing creams, rubbed on the skin to improve oily skin and to reduce large pores. They soothe the skin and draw out excess water. Slices can be placed over the eyelids when in the sun to prevent wrinkles around the eyes and to soothe the eyes from the effects of the sun. Cucumbers reduce redness and puffiness on the eyes. Cucumber is found as an ingredient in many lotions, soaps and creams. It can keep the skin moist, firm and refreshed.

Costochondritis

(COS-to-kon-DRY-tis)

Costochondritis is an irritation and swelling of the joints that connect the ribs to the breastbone. It is most common in young adults. It can take 3 to 6 weeks to disappear.

Often there is no cause that can be found. The problem is marked by chest tightness and sharp pain that worsens when you move or breathe deeply. The pain may spread to the arm and occur in more than one place.

No special care is needed.

When an attack occurs, avoid exhausting physical activity and try not to bump your ribs as you move around. Heat may be applied to the injury to help relieve pain. Use a warm heating pad, whirlpool bath or warm, moist towels for 10 to 20 minutes every hour for 48 hours. Non prescription medications such as aspirin or acetaminophen or ibuprofen may east the pain.

Call the doctor if the pain increases or you become very uncomfortable. Or if you develop high temperature, worsening chest pain or new, unexplained symptoms.

WEAKNESS WITHIN

Weakness within the moral fabric of any nation,
will cause populations great discomfort and frustration?
Where anything and everything are deemed to be okay,
there are so many areas that are left in the gray.
Allowing small groups of people to cause major reform,
realizing to late it was just the tip of the storm.
We once were able to tell our children whom they could trust,
now those same people are causing heads to turn in disgust.
There does not seem to be many rules that all agree with,
maybe why many stand before judges taking the fifth.
What can be done to change the downfall of any nation?
that depends, I believe, on how one views their salvation.
What does salvation have to do with weakness from within?
knowing that satan rules this world and it is filled with sin.
